Someday You Will Be Someone
For each and everyone of us, from being unique and destined to
succeed
Someday you will be somebody
When things aren’t the way you want them to be
Someday you will be someone
When you seem not the one you want to become
You see the road it lies ahead
And thought the path was clear of burdens
You didn’t know when the road comes to bend
The beginning of it all in reality was the end
Someday you might fail to walk
But it is no reason not to run
You will change and see the light
Someday you will be someone
Fill up a bucket with stones
And it will take you a while to carry it a mile
But if you keep your burdens aside
The wind will blow you a thousand miles
Throw a stone on the water
The ripples grow forever unbounded
If you wait for the leaf to touch the ground
It will sway and sway and sway around
Set your goal
Set your fire
Seek what you need
Find what you desire
Aim for change
Be different
Do what is right
It is sufficient
What is reason when nobody asks?
What is future when no one cares about the past?
Go on and bleed
And lose the virus under your skin
Go on and cry
So the pain of what you see will burst out of your eye
And it will turn to flood
To wash away the barricades of life
And soon you’ll emerge again
Someday the waters will be dry
